Madison is too cute for words. Such a precious little girl, with an equally adorable personality. She was so sweet and had attitude (in a precious and super photogenic way, not in a that kid you want to smack way!)  She instantly had a soft spot with me because she is a blonde haired, blue eyed, 3 year old princess….sound like anyone else I know? Her and Hailey are literally about a week part in age. I think they should do a session together. Cuteness overload…woah!!!! Madison is doing her first pageant in a couple months, so Mallory decided to do a combined session of her head shots and some Mommy and Daughter pictures. She was so photogenic, and so cooperative (Of course, the promise of spongebob and princess bandaids didn’t hurt. Those will clearly be staying in my camera bag from here on out!) it really made my job easy, and so fun!!!! I can’t wait to see how this little princess does in her first pageant and look forward to doing a session with them again soon including their puppies. These two are a match made in heaven. It doesn’t take being around them for much more than about 30 seconds to see how perfect they are together. Leslie is such a sweetheart and Andy is funny beyond hilarious. They have so much in common and clearly have fun as long as they are together! And- these two could seriously save your life one day. Leslie is a paramedic, and Andy is a paramedic and a firefighter. Seriously awesome. I’m pretty sure Andy has 3 loves in his life; Leslie, Black Beauty (that would be his truck btw), and his tractor. Lucky for him we were able to get pictures of all 3. 🙂 Thank you guys for inviting me out to your farm and into your lives. I had a blast with you guys. Can’t wait to do it again soon!!!! 🙂

Wow. This shoot was an adventure. Most of them are, all in their own unique ways, but this one really takes the cake. If you read my blog regularly you know that I have been fighting the typical evening summer storms a bit lately (ok, every shoot for the last couple weeks). This session was no exception. In fact, it was the worst one to date. It was beautiful when we set out on this shoot, and pretty rapidly we noticed some seriously intense clouds heading our way. We were determined to get these pictures done though, it was the only day Emma could do it. We were wrapping up at one location and had a great location across town we wanted to hit. We decided to jump in the truck and go for it, hoping that we would get lucky since we were going away from the clouds. Boy did we ever get lucky. When we got there the clouds were getting really dark (yet beautiful) and there was lightening and thunder crashing all around us. But, no rain yet. Heaven forbid Glen should get wet (Glen is my camera by the way, yes it is named. I name everything!) It was getting scarier by the moment but there were some great shots I REALLY wanted to get. My assistant decided the heck with this nonsense and she bailed to the truck. It was just me, Emma, Glen, and some ever darkening clouds. We got finished just in time. No sooner did we get the truck doors closed did the bottom purely fall out. It rained cats and dogs, and maybe some pigs and sheep too. When we got back to the farm we had no power. And, on the way home we had a lightening bolt strike so close to the truck that we could all feel the electricity off of it. Sheesh, talk about creepy. Ok. Enough about the great storm of 2012 ;). Let’s talk about Emma. She is just amazing. There are so many great things to say about her. Where to start….she is beautiful, inside and out; so sweet, pure, genuine, funny, silly, entertaining, kind, caring, and did I mention beautiful? I’ve watched Emma grow up for the past 3 years now and I couldn’t be more proud of the young lady she is turning into. I only hope in many MANY 😉 years Hailey will be as great of a kid as Emma is. I hope you guys enjoy these pictures as much as we enjoyed taking them, massive storm and all! <3Bri

Ok. First of all, get ready for cuteness overload. Meet Josh, Heather, and Owen. These guys are the image of the all american family. They are quite possibly the cutest couple ever, with an equally adorable little boy. These guys are so cute together because they are clearly crazy about each other and their little boy. Of course it doesn’t hurt that they are pretty and photogenic people either! 🙂 It seems like Owen was just born yesterday, and he is already over 6 months old and CRAWLING. It is amazing how fast time really goes by. Especially when your having fun! When we got ready to do the shoot it starting pouring down rain and storming like crazy. Which it proceeded to do for well over an hour (even though there was only a teeny tiny dot on the radar and it wasn’t raining 10 minutes away) while we sat there and waited…and waited…and waited some more. It finally stopped, just in the nick of time, as Josh had somewhere else he had to be, and off we went with a swiftness. Despite some slight improvising because of wet ground and what not we were able to get some good shots and have a blast in the process. I hope you all enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed shooting them! Oh and Josh is a local police officer, so be sure to slow down through Aberdeen and if you run into him make sure you thank him for keeping us safe! 🙂 ~Bri

Took a quick break out of my day to go shoot some lovely rides at the Rise ‘N Shine Dressage Show at the Harness Track this am. I’m pretty sure it is the earliest I have been up in about a year, but it was totally worth it! Enjoy! 🙂 

I love to shoot. Especially when it is a totally random, impromptu shoot that ends up being super fun and awesome. This is a perfect example of that. Enjoy….

This shoot was so.much.fun. Emily is just a blast to be around. She is so beautiful, smart, witty, and silly. Not to mention she is horse crazy (another win in my book) and is turning into quite an accomplished young rider. The horse she rides, William, is equally as beautiful (albeit a little chubby- but he says somethings can’t be helped!) and Emily is head over heels in love with him. Their bond really shines in these pictures, and you can tell he thinks she is pretty special too!! Emily wins the award for trooper of the year with this shoot. It was over 100 degrees (literally) and with the help of a few “diva sweat rags” we were able to pull it off. Of course this session would not have been complete without a few roadside wardrobe changes, grass and hay in all the wrong places, and a couple green slobber episodes compliments of Sir William. I hope that everyone had as wonderful of a holiday as I did. We spent the day swimming and cooking out with family and ended the day with a great fireworks display and a gorgeous full moon.
